Peace on Earth

Good Day All,

This is special for my Ukrainian/Russian/Armenian friends.

It’s the Eastern rite Christmas and I love it. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL...Let PEACE and tranquility reign all over the world.

To tell the truth...Wars is awful. It sucks.  You, the next generation, have to work for world peace, just like you work for the preservation of the environment. This the world that you will inherit and you should take care of its physical and as well as its social well being.

Ban the wars.

There is no JUST war. They said the War the will end all wars...for the First World War and you know how many wars we had after that....and we had the Second World War...The Vietnam War...The 1967 Middle east War...The Iraqi War...The Afghanistan War....All for noble purposes like establishing democracy...But to no avail.

The world is as it was....Nothing has changed. Some regimes have toppled and names have changes, but the general attitude of greed and profit has remained the same.

The West invaded Vietnam and Iraq and Afghanistan to establish democracy...They left Vietnam in ruins; Iraqi violence continues unabated, and Afghanistan is less democratic than ever....

They propelled the Arab Spring...But Egypt and Libya and Tunisia and Algeria are less hospitable and less democratic than before...In Libya they even attacked the US embassy and in Egypt there arrested Canadian doctors....

It is Christmas again....Eastern Christmas...Merry Christmas to all...Cheers again my Ukrainian, Russian and Armenian friends...Peace on Earth and tranquility to all humankind.

It is a historical conundrum and a religious irony that all the major wars are done in the name of democracy and for religious beliefs...For democracy between the West and Germany and its allies; between the west and the Soviet Union. For religion between the Catholics and Protestants of Europe-the 100 Years War; the 30 Years War.

It is a shame, but that’s the historical reality...and as long as our society is based on the profit motif and competition then it will be the same.

Young people like you should change the world and the social set up.

It is Christmas all over again and let us share not compete, let’s have peace not war...

All religions aspire for peace, but all are fighting each other...for supremacy.

The message of Christmas is to think like a mathematician...Do the MATH WITHOUT NUMBERS, and change, reorder things like God will want us to. That’s our duty and we should heed the call of the Prince of Peace.

We have to try and try again and one day we will succeed...
