Drive the Apparatchiks...OUT of the TEMPLE

The Ministry, the Boards, the school admin do not (and should not) DICTATE teacher-student dialogue...
Educators should be left alone...and let them do their task unhampered...

Teacher quits job rather than 'unfriend' students

·         79-year-old Carol Thebarge was given an ultimatum when she refused to 'unfriend' her students on Facebook

·         Should rules related to student-teacher relationships and Facebook apply to everyone?

Carol Thebarge has been working as a substitute teacher in Claremont, New Hampshire, for the past 35 years, but when school administrators at Stevens High School told her she had to choose between her job and being "friends" with her students on Facebook, she chose her students.

"Do we have the right as teachers, when we respect our students and our students respect us, to have that relationship?" Thebarge asked in an interview. "I feel like mine is very safe. I have never been inappropriate."

Thebarge says nothing about her Facebook page is secret, but she does have her own personal policies when it comes to interacting with students online.

She says she's only friends with those who have specifically been her students, and they must have photos displayed of themselves so that she can confirm the students are who they say they are online. 

The teachers are qualified educators.
As such, they are responsible beings.
The Ministry, the Boards and the school admin should not suffocate free dialogue between teachers and students...
Recently, under the cover of being politically correct, the teachers are being muzzled and the free flow of thought being hampered.
So as the schools will run smoothly....the administrators, the Boards and the government are victimizing teachers and trying to satisfy some VOCAL PARENTS and TROUBLE MAKER STUDENTS...
This is called the DICTATORSHIP OF THE MINORITY and stinks like STALINIST and NAZI-FASCIST practices.
I have been heard that...

•  Students are ORDERED not to communicate with others...
• Teachers are reprimanded for asking students to apologize for wrong doings... (the administrators in question have told that the teacher should not be the judge of wrong doings...) 

This indeed describes a farce... and superbly Kafkaesque Stalinist-Nazi-Fascist thought control.

Or, 

May be the Boards and administrators have hired and engaged INCOMPETENT "teachers" because of "connections" and family ties...!

While the internet and advancement in technology is democratizing knowledge and communications, the Governments, Boards and local, on the site administrates are trying to CONTROL ALL and EVERYTHING...

In the seventies the students initiated the FLOWER REVOLUTION and opposed the Vietnam War... and we need another FLOWER-DIGITAL MOVEMENT to drive these apparatchiks out of office...and liberate ourselves to enjoy the dignity and liberty GIVEN TO US BY GOD...
